Introducing 3 New Authors
I'd like to introduce and welcome
minnemoman,
up2nogd1, and
psudodrake to FML! All of them bring some great stories to the lineup and I look forward to seeing ![moarplz :iconmoarplz:]()
![:D (Big Grin) :D]()
Also, my apologies for the lateness in the interview with jcmaddington. I had only just heard back from him and with the requests I'm doing, my priorities are getting pushed out of order. So to jcmaddington, I'll do my best to get the questions to you before the weekend.

Fresh restart for the Foster World story
First of all I have to make an apologize for clearing the older version of the story.
When I first started to write the piece, it felt fun and different. But I never gave it too much credit. When the time went on I started to feel there was something more in these characters that I had created. And suddenly the whole story started to feel unworthy to them. It buggered me for a long time and finally I choose to erase the story completely and start from scratch.
The time went on and I had difficulties to focus on the work. Finally everything felt right and I had done my creative work in head enough.
If everything goes right the story should be interesting and fun. At least I think so myself.
I am a slow writer because of my English and I tend to polish my writing many times before releasing it. But this time I tend to finish the work correctly and I hope every reader will find something from it.
Now, I would like to have some thoughts about the start from those who would like to give some.
Would you prefer more of a straight muscle-ish story, or is my own particular story better in the way: A fantasy story with muscle element in it, not a muscle story with a fantasy element.

A Loss & A Gain
After giving it some serious thought, I've decided to drop the monthly interviews. Instead, I'll put together a sort of questionaire that each AotM may answer, that'll shed some light on what they're about. But the actual interviews themselves are no more. I just don't seem to have the motivation to keep up with them. To jcmaddington and all future AotM honorees, I am really sorry if this disappoints you. I ask pretty much the same general questions each month and I am always late doing it. And while some interviews are different than others, the general questions are always there: What got so-so into doing female muscle stories? What are your future plans? etc etc.
So technically speaking, the interviews may be gone, but there will still be something for each person to interact in that'll shed some light about them for others to learn about. So please don't try to ask me to reconsider. My mind is made up. This new method of "interview" will begin with jcmaddington and go from there.
Now that the bad news is out of the way, it's time for some good news and what the gain is. Again, after some serious thought, I'm going to expand what FML may show and allow...actual female muscle pictures! But...there is one condition, and I will stress this condition as much as possible:
Whatever picture you post, it MUST be accompanied by a story in the description of the picture. And it can't be one or two paragraphs either summarizing the picture. It MUST be a story. You want an example, here's three: [link] [link] [link]
This is an experimental move, and whether or not it becomes a staple of FML depends on whether or not people follow the instructions for what qualifies as a picture with a story depicting it in the description. If too many people try to take advantage of this and post pictures with no story or a normal description, then I will remove this feature permanently. So please don't ruin it for everyone else.

Author of the Month Returns
Before I begin, I apologize for being late for the actual AotM selection. I also know that I gotta get my ass in gear and get that questionaire interview put together for jcmaddington as well. Sometimes, I wish people would remind me about these things when it's late like this.
Anyway, the AotM is![sling4ever :iconsling4ever:]()
Congratulations Sling! Details will soon follow. Unfortunately, it's too late at night for me to start it now, but tomorrow I'll do it as soon as I can. It's time to get this place jumping again damn it! XD

Some Insight With sling4ever
Here is the interview with ![sling4ever :iconsling4ever:]()
I'm really sorry I took this long to post it!![Tears :tears:]()
Remember, this interview will be the first that will consist of a set number and type of questions that will be presented in all future interviews. Without further delay, here it is!
Rinji: What got you into the whole female muscle genre?
sling4ever: I say when I first saw some highlights of contests on TV when I was younger. I was attracted to the shapes, strength, energy and confidence. I was hooked from there.
Rinji: Of all your stories, which story are you particularly proud of?
sling4ever: Holistically my story with Christienne would be my pride and joy. Although she is the least muscular woman I have created, that's when I felt my writing and drawing abilities starting to come together. The story with Christienne goes against mainly what I have written and it turned out better than expected.
Rinji: If you can meet any one of the characters you have created, which one would it be?
sling4ever: It would be my first character Claudia. She has a spark, to say the least. She has strength and isn't afraid to show it off. She may be emotional at times, but is fiercely loyal with those she trusts. These are some of the attributes that I would like to have in a woman myself.
Rinji: Have you ever met a female muscle woman in real life? And if so, what was it like?
sling4ever: The extended version is located here. [link] The short version is that I had a muscle worship session with Alina Popa last spring. It wasn't cheap but it was the best money I spent in a long time. My interpretation wouldn't do the experience justice. It was like a stone block covered by a thin silk layer. As far as any female muscle encounters that I haven't paid for, nothing has happened as of now.
Rinji: Are there any specific female muscle authors that you particularly admire and/or are inspired by?
sling4ever: I got my start with All Growth Comics from LH Art. I enjoyed the writing style very much and I have taken my queue from them. Not to mention that there is some muscley goodness as well.![;) (Wink) ;)]()
Rinji: Can you tell us of any upcoming stories you have planned?
sling4ever: Things have been quiet as of late, but things usually pick up around wintertime. I would like to do another tale with Claudia, maybe something shorter. I had an idea of a muscular biker chick on the back burner for some time (2008?). Maybe this time I'll come up with something...
Rinji: Is there anything else you'd like to mention before we go?
sling4ever: What got me writing these stories was oddly enough, a break from writing. I was in the middle of my Master's thesis and needed something to take off the edge from "constructive dissidence" with my advisor. I'm fairly confident in my writing ability, but I needed to focus on some more positive energy in that aspect. I decided to contribute to dA aside from being a lurker. My writing was ahead of my drawing abilities, so I used my interests in female muscle and video games to come up with some short stories.
In the 'funny how things work out' department. I thought it would be fun to meet up with one of the artists from dA, I never thought that it would take me to one of the furthest places that I could go. I did meet with
when she was living in Australia in early 2009. She is just as nice as she appears and we had a fun time together during my small window.
Rinji: Thank you for being part of the Female Muscle Library! And congratulations on becoming Author of the Month!
sling4ever: Thanks again. Off I go to the Great White South and hopefully some good stuff!
