I thought I should talk about writing. There is great merit in writing full, rich, descriptive stories. I know, as a reader, when I read, I like to be enveloped in the story. So what makes a good story? Here are what I as a reader and author consider key to the success of one's endeavors:
Plan out your story. Do a storyboard or a time line or just jot your ideas down! See how they work together, eliminating ones that don't make any sense or just plain don't work.
Grammar
Punctuation
Write like you actually care about the reader. Make your sentence's flow effortlessly across the page. You want to bring the reader into your imagined world, making them want to come back for more.
Take your time.
Above all, have fun!
