I'm at a Roadblock

I'm trying to figure out a way to sort out the multichapter stories. I was given the idea of creating subfolders for them and place the chapters in there, leaving only the one piece stories in the main area.

The problem is that if all of the authors' stories are multichapter stories, then if I put them all in subfolders, then anyone who browses the author list won't see anything in the preview window, and will think there's nothing there.

I thought of creating a generic placeholder to let all viewers know that there are indeed stories within an author's folder, but I'm not sure if that will work well or not.

I also thought of limiting creation of a subfolder to multichapter stories with a certain number of chapters or more. The question is, how many chapters should a story have to deem necessary to put in a subfolder?

I think the whole subfolder concept is a great idea personally as it simplifies the folder and reduces clutter as well as less pages to click through. But at the same time, there has to be something to remain in the folder's main page. I think I'll post a poll on this. Either way, I really would like your input on this.
